Task:
A Task is a collection of processes organized to complete a project. Tasks may include processes that occur in sequencial or parrallel order. Sequential processes are linked after one another. Parrallel processes may occur simultaneously. The Task is ordered chronogically from left to right. Processes on the left side (parent processes) have to occur before their corresponding processes on the right side (child processes). NOTE: Each parent process can only be connected to ONE child process. However, each child process can be connected to more than one parent process. It is suggested that the first process in the task be the one that occurs latest in the entire task (farthest to the right). |
Process(es):
A Process is a seqential collection of steps required to complete an activity. Each process step is categorized into 1) Value Adding, 2) Non-Value, Required, 3) Non-Value, Unnecessary. |
