| Ball Lock Mounting System - Locking and locating are accomplished in same motion. Only two & 1/2 turns max needed to clamp and locate fixtures to within 0.0005” repeatability. In these photos, forward facing fixture is unclamped, angled by 5 degrees and relocated and clamped now using two ball locks. Formerly, the fixture had to be raised off the doweled base plate and lowered onto another set of dowels requiring a cherry picker. The three jaw chucks on these fixtures clamp pins for gun drilling. |
